Macro Monday more flowers

At work last week, the mom got a beautiful centerpiece from an awards ceremony in which she was a participant.  I enjoyed taking photos of the flowers. Although this wasn't my favorite flower, it is my favorite flower when photographed.  The photos just came out so well.  Hope you enjoy!

Roses and Cards

Today I didn't have a ton of time to do this but here are the photos for today.  Part of the reason I didn't have time was because of this card that I made for my secret sister at church.

Pictures of the Day

Well, I have some better pictures from today but I'm saving them for Macro Monday next week.  So these will have to do for today.  This first one I'm not sure if I like it enough to try to play around with it.  . . . Let me know what you think.

Not sure if I like this one too much either. . . must figure out how to edit it.

As always click on the picture to see it bigger.

And these flowers came from this arrangement which was a centerpiece that the mom got from an awards ceremony that she went to.  She won an award.  Cool!  I had an awful time getting a good photo of the whole arrangement though :(

Saturday Flowers. . .

This is the original. . . Then I rotated it, and added some shadow, and a soft focus and got this:

And then this one is a bit closer up. . .

And here is another original. . .

and then I rotated it, clicked the "i'm feeling luck" button on Picasa, and used a bw, focus. . . and got this

And another one of this bud. . .

which is unedited. .. probably one of my favorite photos I've ever taken on the new camera.

Holly took me out to take some pictures with her camera.  Here is what I came up with after playing with photoshop.

And the same with Saturday

Considering I got home at 12:30 ish last night I had no time to upload a photo.  Again these are unedited and not sure if these are my favorites or not yet until I actually get to play around with the photos sometime.

Mom and I took a walk around the campgrounds and saw this pretty little flower. . . and the one below.  That one wasn't little though it was huge.  It was such a beautiful rainy day yesterday.  To me anyway!

Friday I wasn't able to upload

a picture.  But here is my unedited submission for my photo of the day.

I wonder as I wander. . .

Just a beautiful flowering bush as my sister, nephew and I went for a walk. These are just some variations of this picture!
This is the unedited picture of Colton in front of the bushes in the front of our house. Although I got him to pose for this one I still like it.

This one I just brightened.
Now at this point Colton was sitting on my lap and wanted to play with the pictures too and this was the way he liked this one! =D
This type of photo was very common because Colton hasn't gotten out of the ham stage yet where he loves to pose for the camera with that little boy cheesy smile. It's a blessing when I get ones like those below this one! He was getting ready to cheese it up in this one!

Unedited.Cropped

The way Colton wanted it. More to come tomorrow

Just starting out.

I am just writing this blog to say that I'm just starting out with this new blog. I hope to be able to put a lot of pictures up on the blog over the summer. Unfortunately right now I'm on my old computer so I don't have any recent photos but here is one I took last May that is still one of my favorites. Enjoy!

This is the same photo only in color instead of sepia this time. Both of these came from when I was at Chapter Focus Week in Cedar Campus Michigan.

I hate auto-start so I turned it off!
